Can someone please explain to me, the Mortal Kombat video game franchise?
The characters with which the players use to engage in the mortal combat are themselves not mortal?
Even after battling these characters to the death, they return, once again, to yet again, battle to the death, again.
Why would a video game franchise claim to deal with the issue of mortality, when a persons own murderous actions fail to have a permanent consequence?
